What are
?
Mark
Igoe, originator of the Cyber-Guides concept, is a travel writer of
many years' standing . In 1997 his daughter took off for a trip
around Europe. With only a rucksack for luggage she was loathe to
fill it with guide books, so between them they conceived an
alternative. As she traveled from one city to another, she would
e-mail her specific information needs to 'Base'. Mark
would then put together precisely the information she'd asked for ~
and hot-mail it to her. Wherever she was, so long as she had
Internet access, she could get whatever travel information she
needed.
The CyberGuide concept was born.
Since
that time Mark has gathered around him a small team of experienced
travel writers who share his vision of an internationally accessible
library of high quality guides divided into easily accessible
modules that can be individually downloaded.
There
are many travel guides on the Internet. The difference with
CyberGuides is that we offer all the advice and researched opinion you'd expect from a
conventional quality guide-book.
Have a look round our Guide to Dublin.
We think you'll agree it's both different & special.
We hope you enjoy your visit
both to our site and to this exciting and vibrant city.
